Good morning. Here’s your Early Warning for Wednesday, 25 October.

Right wing figure Lauren Southern is scheduled to speak at the University of Minnesota tonight, and Leftists there are planning to disrupt the speech. Southern uses her YouTube channel to oppose mass immigration, and rose to internet fame for holding public demonstrations countering the Leftist claim that the West celebrates rape culture. Her argument is that the West celebrates the rule of law, while Islam celebrates rape culture through their oppressive treatment of women. (University of Minnesota campus flyer picture below.)

Every major news outlet is now reporting that the DNC and Clinton campaign paid for the infamous Trump-Russia dossier, compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele and his employer, Fusion GPS. President Trump was widely lambasted for claiming that the DNC paid for the dubious opposition research, and that Steele was reimbursed for some of his expenses by the FBI. Sources are now confirming to news outlets that Trump’s claims were true. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted last night that the real Russia scandal is that the “Clinton campaign paid for the fake Russia dossier, then lied about it & covered it up.” Fusion GPS had been previously fighting U.S. courts to prevent the courts from ordering the company to release how it funded the dossier.

The Navy announced that there are now three carrier strike groups in the Western Pacific ahead of the president’s trip to Asia. The USS Nimitz, Reagan, and Roosevelt are in various locations in the Pacific, but all are in the 7th Fleet Area of Operations. SECDEF Mattis is in the region this week, holding talks on North Korea and China.
