Auto-manufacturer Nissan announced that it will be fielding its first self-driving taxi fleet in Japan starting in March 2018, and will begin offering it as a service in the early 2020s. They lag General Motors who said they’ll have a self-driving taxi service in the U.S. in 2019. Waymo and Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has 100 self-driving cars operating in Phoenix, AZ, and plans to add 500 more. Tesla, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Infiniti, Audi, Acura, Lexus, and several other car manufacturers have plans to introduce self-driving cars to consumers in the coming years.

During the Clinton administration, Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act, which recognized Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, but allowed for a waiver on the grounds of national security to temporarily postpone moving the U.S. Embassy there. It’s been temporarily postponed since 1995.
