This report is a roll-up of activity from revolutionary communist, radical anarchist, fascist, and other ‘alternative’ political groups that fulfill our intelligence requirements for both the Alt-Left and Alt-Right for Tuesday, 13 February 2018. Activities included are from Washington State, Texas, California, Michigan, and Ohio.
Alt-Left:
Video: During a planned parenthood protest in Olympia, Washington, members of the violent far-left group Antifa, as well as other members of the Alt-Left, proceeded to light an American flag on fire. In response to the Antifascists burning the flag, one of the planned parenthood protestors says, “Do you guys realize that if you did that in any communist nation that you’d be in prison?” This is followed by one of the Antifascists explaining that it’s, “actually the American flag”, to which the protestor says, “Right, that’s the only reason you’re able to do that.” After some banter back in forth between the two groups, members of the fraternal organization called the Proud Boys and other patriot groups attempted to steal the flag and keep it from being burned. The attempt quickly led to a brief, but violent confrontation between the two groups, however, the Alt-Left protestors were quickly overrun, which led to most of them dispersing. After the brawl, one of the members of the patriot group named Tusitala “Tiny” Toese began yelling at the Antifascists nursing their wounds saying, “That’s what you guys get. This is the result for that. This is the f*cking result for that. You guys want violence? Austin: The Alt-Left, University of Texas, student group called Revolutionary Student Front, are holding a rally today to try and remove a professor from the campus who has a criminal history of domestic abuse. The student group recently vandalized the campus with red graffiti to warn students and faculty of the professors history and gain the attention of the universities administration. In addition to the warnings about the professor were spray painted communist symbols such as the hammer and sickle. The description of the event not the groups Facebook page claims that, “We want to force Morrisett off of our campus by any means necessary!” (Source: https://www.facebook.com/events/380931119036766/)
