This report is a roll-up of activity from revolutionary communist, radical anarchist, fascist, and other ‘alternative’ political groups that fulfill our intelligence requirements for both the Alt-Left and Alt-Right for Wednesday, 14 February 2018. Activities included are from Texas, Washington State, California, Michigan, and Ohio.
Austin: One protestor was arrested during the far-left group Revolutionary Student Front’s protest yesterday to have the University of Texas remove a professor with a criminal history of domestic abuse. A video of the protest shows a group of police officers surrounding and arresting a protestor. According to their website, “After about 15 minutes of chanting, five pigs made their way through the crowd to specifically target one lone protester, who had been doing nothing besides chanting and passing out flyers.” The arrested student is facing charges for criminal trespassing. Since the students arrest, Revolutionary Student Front has started a fundraiser to raise money in support of their “comrade” in custody.”(Source: https://www.facebook.com/RSFAustin/videos/1359568194148491/)(Source: https://revolutionarystudentfrontatx.wordpress.com/2018/02/13/rally-to-run-off-morrisett-reportback/) (Source: https://fundrazr.com/b1KOt6?ref=ab_078g55_ab_9tSSUCPoB6T9tSSUCPoB6T)
Washington State: Joey Gibson and the conservative group Patriot Prayer, as well as the fraternal organization called the Proud Boys are hosting an event later this month at Heathman Lodge. In an attempt to stop the lodge from allowing the groups to hold the event, an antifascist Twitter account tweeted at the Heathman Lodge official Twitter account, asking the lodge to cancel the event, “Don’t do it, Heathman. Call (360) 254-3100, and tell them, ‘Don’t do it, Heathman Lodge. You’re hosting Joey Gibson, a neo-nazi enabling, violent ringleader of an extremist right-wing conservative group.'” (Source: https://twitter.com/ClarkCounty161/status/963674206448824321)
