Congress: Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee have proposed a new bill that would imprison Antifa protestors for up to 15 years if they are caught committing acts of violence and destruction while masked. The bill was introduced by Rep. Daniel Donovan Jr. (R-NY), who stated that the bill “expands upon long-standing civil rights statutes to make it a crime to deprive someone of Constitutionally-guaranteed protections while masked or disguised.” According to the Western Journal, the bill would “punish anyone wearing a mask or disguise who ”injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates’ someone else exercising a right guaranteed under the Constitution.” (Source:

Pennsylvania: It’s Going Down published an anonymous submission that details the sabotage of the Mariner East 2 Pipeline constriction site in Pennsylvania. According to the author of the post, which was originally published by Philly Anti-Capitalist, “In late June, we sabotaged construction of the Mariner East 2 pipeline in Pennsylvania by tampering with the liquidation system of an excavator being used on a construction site. We did this in a way that would not be noticeable until operating the machine afterwards had ruined it permanently.” Additionally the author stated in the post that many of the machines located at the pipeline constriction site are unguarded, implying that they can easily be tampered with. Washington, D.C.: On 17 July, 2018 Black Lives Matter DC posted on their Facebook page this week asking for black community members to participate in a discussion on their upcoming resistance of the “Unite the Right 2” rally on 12 August 2018. (Source:


Louisville, Kentucky: An Occupy Ice protestor tweeted this week asking for supporters to bring food and drinks to their ongoing protest in Louisville, Kentucky. In the tweet read “Right now at @occupyicelou we need FOOD. Cold food, hot food, snacks, fruit and veggies. We have folks signed up to bring meals ( but we need add’n FOOD for all times of the day. Water and drinks are also nice but we need FOOD.” (Source:

Chicago, Illinois: A violent confrontation took place in Chicago on Saturday between police and protestors after police shot and killed a black man. According to Splinter News, the confrontation “lasted for several hours after the shooting, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday evening,” and video of the protest shows police with batons “violently attacking protesters.” (Source:

The Chicago-based Antifa group South Side Anti-Racist Action shared a printable version of a “guide to fascist fascist organizations and their symbolism” on their blog site. The post included a link where the guide could be printed and announced that a readable-online version would be coming soon. (Source:


Louisiana: A report back published on It’s Going Down details a tree sit protest launched in the path of the Bayou Bridge Pipeline. The report back was published by the Leau Est La Vie Camp, which has been protesting the pipeline in Louisiana for months. In the report the camp claims that “Deep in the Atchafalaya Basin, one of the largest swamps in North America, aerial blockades have been established directly on the path of the Bayou Bridge Pipeline” and that “Water protectors are currently occupying multiple tree-sits on the pipeline easement.” In the post the camp also claims that despite the fact that they have filed petitions and lawsuits and have taken actions against the pipeline over 50 times, the construction of the pipeline has continued and they are “left with no other choice but to put our bodies, and our lives on the line to stop this pipeline.” Additionally, the camp requested in the post that activists target the banks who are financing the pipeline companies who are constructing the pipeline. The following is a list of banks who are financing the pipeline: Bank of America, Citi Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of Tokyo, Credit Suisse, and the Royal Bank of Canada. The camp ended the post with a call to action saying “But this injustice ends here. it is time to stop the Bayou Bridge Pipeline and #StopETP once and for all. Durham, North Carolina: An anonymous contributor posted a report back on It’s Going Down detailing a solidarity action taken by activists in Durham, North Carolina with a Missouri prison strike. According to the author of the post the activists painted a large wall piece in preparation for an upcoming national prison strike taking place on 21 August, 3018. The anonymous contributor concluded the post saying that “There is no wall they can build that we cannot paint, climb over, dig under, go around, or break into a thousand pieces to return to the earth from which it came.” (Source:

Texas: According to the Washington Examiner, several Antifa groups in Texas are calling for the abolishment of ICE. This has lead to the antifascist activists publishing the personal information of ICE agents and personnel. The University of Texas at San Antonio – based group Revolutionary Horizon and the student direct action group Autonomous Student Network (ASN), are just two of the antifascist groups who are attacking the immigration enforcement agency. (Source:

San Antonio, Texas: A group based out of the University of Texas at San Antonio called the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) are attempting to get an upcoming Dr. Jordan Peterson event cancelled due to the fact that Peterson “makes a living promoting conversion therapy and spreading lies about transgender people.” In a statement the group demanded the cancellation of Dr. Peterson’s lecture and requested that the center hosting the event would “commit to scheduling programming that does not discriminate against people on the basis of an individual’s race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability, familial status, national origin, or age.” (Source:

Central Texas: The Socialist Rifle Association of Central Texas (SRA-CT) shared an article on their Facebook page by the New York Daily News that claims that Jewish Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that his social media site will not ban holocaust deniers because they deserve a “voice.” In their post, SRA-CT bashed Zuckerberg saying, “Great job Zucc, once again you have proved that you’re spineless and are co-signing fascists to project their hatred to anyone who isn’t white and Christian simply for the ad revenue.” (Source:

Identity Evropa: Activists visited two cemeteries this week and put up propaganda flyers in 7 cities across four states. During their visit to an American veterans cemetery in Fayetteville, North Carolina, IE activists removed trash from the site and left flowers on the graves of Confederate soldiers. In New York IE activists visited the Dillaboroough Cemetery where they paid respects to Johannes Spanknable, who served in the Continental Army and is an ancestor of one of IE’s members. In addition to their cemetery visits in New York and North Carolina, IE activists put up propaganda flyers in the follow cities and states:

Proud Boys: Following his viral knock-out of an Antifa protestor at a rally in Portland, Oregon, Proud Boy Rufio Panman has “fueled interest” in the fraternal organization and their upcoming rallies. Videos and pictures taken of the knock-out have been shared across social media for weeks, which has put Panman and the Proud Boys into the spotlight. The organization’s founder, Gavin McInnes, interviewed Panman during his show on CRTV where he praised his knock-out and even likened it’s impact to Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination, which notoriously sparked the first World War.
