Communist organizers and revolutionaries tweeted to lend support to the recently victorious teacher strikes in Los Angeles. This continues the trend of communist groups showing support for this and other strikes around the world and is in line with a 2019 communist strategy statement, which encouraged supporting strikes in order to promote communist sympathies and ideologies.
