  1. I don’t believe your analysis is wrong. The one question I would pose is the idea that no plan survives contact with the enemy. The discipline to continue such an projected march to power postulates that every one on both sides behaves rationally and keeps to the party line.

    That is the part I am not sure can be maintained.

  2. Unfortunately the left, not the liberals, the left, are seeming to put out some really extreme things. I do see a triggering event coming at some point. They are seeming to want to push things to extremes rather than thinking strategically.

  3. Indeed. One of my *tripwire events* high on the list involves watching for differences between various factions in law enforcement and the military to start shooting each other, probably to be blamed on other actors. That’ll be when alliances with any usable subgroups can be made.

  4. You are swatting at flies while the elephant is charging at you. The SHTF event that is happening is climate change which will produce water shortages and other monetary stresses on governments worldwide and result in a financial meltdown.
