Chinese official: Attempts to separate mainland and Taiwan ‘not to be tolerated’

Ma Xiaoguang, a spokesperson for China’s Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, told Chinese media this week that any attempts to ‘split’ the mainland from Taiwan would not be tolerated, even if it meant Bejing resorting to force.
