Job Description:

We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Geostrategic Intelligence Analyst to join the Forward Observer risk intelligence team. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of international relations and global security dynamics, and demonstrate a strong capability in delivering insightful and strategic analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive geostrategic analysis focusing on political, diplomatic, economic, and military trends and developments.
  • Monitor commercial and proprietary information feeds to identify information of intelligence value.
  • Evaluate information to produce timely intelligence assessments.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive intelligence databases, ensuring the information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for quick decision-making.
  • Contribute to the production of insightful briefings, reports, and presentations for a range of audiences.
  • Continually improve analytic tradecraft, domain knowledge, and professional networks.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior military or intelligence experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and structured analytic techniques is beneficial.
  • The ability to think and write clearly and concisely is a must.

Qualifications:

  • Strong candidates have a bachelors degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field, or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of intelligence experience, with a focus on political, economic, or military analysis.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with demonstrable success producing intelligence on violent social movements, popular revolutions, and/or insurgent groups.

Location: Austin, Texas or Remote

Job Description:

We’re currently seeking a meticulous and highly analytical Low Intensity Conflict Analyst to research and assess radical, revolutionary, and extremist groups and movements in the United States. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in assessing and interpreting data to understand low intensity conflicts such as insurgencies, irregular/unconventional warfare, and terrorist activities in order to guide strategic decision-making.
