Low Intensity Conflict Analyst
Job Description: As a Low Intensity Conflict analyst, your job is to identify and track radical, extremist, and revolutionary movements in the United States. You’re looking for indications of size, activity, and intent, among other factors. You’ll analyze social media activity, other open source information, and reporting derived from human sources. The intelligence you produce will help subscribers and clients better understand the risk of domestic conflict.
Job Requirements: Although we’re based in Austin, Texas, this can be a remote-work position. This is a full-time position, 8am to 5pm Central, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is rare, but occasionally required. You’ll be responsible for identifying intelligence gaps, developing collection plans, analyzing collected information, and producing daily and weekly intelligence reports.
Qualifications: Prior military or intelligence experience is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidates are inquisitive about problems and aggressive in collection. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle, critical thinking techniques, and structured analysis is beneficial. The ability to think and write clearly and concisely is a must.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
