Analyst’s Comment: The FBI is reporting that Alt-Right Groups such as “The Proud Boys” are actively recruiting in the Pacific Northwest Region, specifically from Portland to Vancouver, but as far north as Seattle.
Considering that this region is widely accepted as Leftist/Antifa territory, Leftist groups are likely to see this recruiting campaign as a provocation by the Proud Boys.
Factor in the FBI move to categorize The Proud Boys as an “Extremist Group” and these Leftist groups may feel empowered and justified in pursuing an aggressive campaign of confrontation that may turn violent.
