One thing I’ve tried to get across to readers in the past year is that Democrats coming back into power is a far more likely threat than EMP, a crippling cyber attack, or end-of-the-world nuclear war.
In fact, this morning I wrote to subscribers about the financial and economic threat that a Democratic president would bring.
This is BY FAR the most important threat that’s being overlooked.
Every 40 years or so, we go through a political realignment. FDR in the 1930s and 40s swung American culture towards the Left. The Reagan Revolution in the 80s swung us back towards the Right. And 30-40 years later, we’re likely ready for another swing back towards the Left. Meanwhile, government continues to grow and accrue more power, without fail.
These things are cyclical. This is the next phase of the cycle, which has already started. This next recession, however, is going to put it in the books.
The fact of the matter is that the threat of socialism should be topping all of our lists. America within 10 years is very likely to be more socialist and less free. That’s a baseline scenario you can count on because the Left already outnumbers us. That’s democracy.
And, by the way, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t prepare for an extreme scenario…
I’m just saying that if you don’t have a plan to figure out how you’re going to live with:
- persistently low economic growth
- much higher taxes and wealth redistribution
- disastrous universal healthcare
- incremental restrictions on the Second Amendment
- amnesty granted to 10 million illegals (cementing one-party rule in D.C.) and
- other Far Left policies…
… then you can’t say that you’re prepared for the future that you’re going to inherit.
And then we throw in the long-term decline of the dollar, the $183 trillion spending shortfall over the next 30 years, and possibly another brutal financial crisis and recession.
There are simply some things that basic ‘prepping’ won’t fix. You won’t be able to escape this by hunkering down.
We should seriously consider relocating to more favorable political terrain. We ought to be building community. We ought to be understanding our human terrain. We ought to be building networks and projecting influence.
And we ought to be gathering local intelligence on threats so we can anticipate future conditions… especially if you expect something extreme to happen.
If you haven’t taken the Intelligence Basic Training course, I invite you to do that. It’s three easy lessons and with some very practical short exercises.
After 7 days, you can proceed with our Intelligence Training Pipeline if you’re interested in developing these critical skills, or you can cancel at any time.
Either way, I hope you begin thinking about what living in this political nightmare will mean because it’s a scenario that’s going to happen.
Always Out Front,
